Christian Hosoi wins PipeBoard
Christian Hosoi wins a PipeBoard with 2nd place win at the Clash at Clairemont 2011. Hosoi won 2nd place in the "longest slide" competition and took home a PipeBoard in front a crowd of 2,000.

PipeBoard helped sponsor Clash at Clairemont, where the world's best skateboard and BMX pros rode to crush cancer at the fifth annual Clash at Clairemont, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19 at Mission Valley YMCA's Krause Family Skate and Bike Park. The event is held annually by
Grind for Life.

The Clash hosted some of the biggest names in skateboarding and BMX, including Andy Macdonald, Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Pierre-Luc Gagnon (“PLG”), Simon Tabron, and many more. The event will feature contests, food, giveaways and a vendor village with sponsors like Sony, MovieTickets.com, Monster Energy Drink, Osiris, Vans, DC, and more. Agent Orange will be back with music, along with special guests.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Mission Valley YMCA and the
Grind For Life Foundation, an organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.
The PipeBoard demo featured up-and-coming amateurs, as well as seasoned pros riding a variety of settings from the street course to the pool to the largest outdoor ramp on the West Coast – the one hundred foot, 2006 X-Games Vert Ramp, donated by ESPN. There will also be an autograph session with the pros after the demo.
